remu0007@umn.edu

My name is Michael Remucal, and I am in the PhD program on the Clinical Informatics track. I retired from a career in general surgery in order to pursue a formal education in Health Informatics. My goal is to improve the work conditions and lifestyles for physicians and other care providers in order to impact the ever-increasing burnout rate which is exacerbating the already-looming physician shortage. With all of the recent technological advances, Informatics holds the answers! In my spare time, I spend time with my family, play ultimate frisbee, and sell Girl Scout Cookies.
